This site has a very small community of about 1000 residents. There is a Fire Station, a General Store, a Mexican Restaurant, a Gift Shop, two Real Estate Offices and two Art Galleries. The biggest event here is an annual Chili Cookoff, held on the first Sunday in July. This is an all day affair that usually has the children and pet parade, hayride, pie contest and other entertainment.
